Southern Home Renovations is a leading remodeling company that thrives on a steady stream of new projects and repeat customers. With a growing customer base, they faced three major bottlenecks:

  1. Applicant Screening – hiring sales reps required time-consuming manual screening, slowing down growth.
  2. Inbound Calls – staff were overwhelmed by incoming calls from leads, current customers, and service requests, creating delays and missed opportunities.
  3. Business Insights – leadership lacked clear, timely visibility into marketing spend and sales performance, limiting their ability to make data-driven decisions.

Each of these areas consumed valuable hours and resources, making it difficult to scale efficiently.

Solution

We built a suite of three AI voice agents to cover the company’s most critical workflows:

  1. Application Qualifier – Similar to our previous hiring system, this AI agent screens applicants with structured conversations, automatically qualifying or disqualifying candidates and booking interviews.
  2. Inbound Voice Agent – Built in Vapi, this dynamic agent handles all inbound calls. It intelligently routes new leads to a live sales rep in real time, supports current customers, and logs service tickets automatically into ClickUp.
  3. Research Agent – This AI agent continuously analyzes marketing spend and sales performance, identifying insights and sending weekly reports directly to leadership for smarter decision-making.

With integrations powered by Make.com, Vapi, and ClickUp, the entire system works cohesively—connecting applicants, customers, and internal data into a single automated workflow.

Features Implemented

Instead of siloed, manual processes, Southern Home Renovations now operates on an AI-driven backbone. Applicant screening is fully automated through structured qualification calls, saving hiring teams from repetitive tasks. The inbound voice agent ensures no call is missed—leads are instantly routed to sales, while service issues are automatically documented in ClickUp without human intervention.

On top of this, the research agent closes the feedback loop by digging into marketing and sales data. Every week, leadership receives a clear, actionable report that surfaces trends, highlights inefficiencies, and points out opportunities for growth.

Together, these three agents work in unison to remove bottlenecks, provide real-time insights, and deliver a seamless experience across sales, service, and hiring.
